    New forum at benchtalk.com--politics

With a total of 3 threads in their political forum, I have a feeling they're none too interested in Politics.

Glad to see he wants the politics out. Many a good conversation has been ruined by political pontification. The second seems like common sense. Although probably not always common. ;)

    OK, Chargemaster show of hands

I think the worst part about it is that I know I've done it, make a mental note not to do it again, and sure as hell, did it a second time.

    Experience with Surplus Powders

I've honestly had great luck with Varget in .223 and .22-250. Still trying to find the right .243 combo. Didn't think Varget would be as effective with the slightly larger case capacity and bullet in the .308 but I am willing to give it a try. I checked today and the stuff that is equivalent...

    Experience with Surplus Powders

You guys have been great with information and knowledge so far so I thought I would throw another one out there. Recently purchased a .308 which is a new caliber for me and was looking at some surplus powder options to save a few $$. Bunch of options out there but it looks like most are for...

    CNBC Exposes Remington trigger coverup

Couple of points after watching it a few times now. I thought Mike Walker said the problem started to occur when something was changed in the manufacturing of the triggers. Not the actual design. Something about bad parts: It sounds like many of the rifles were caught before being shipped out...

    Forum attitudes

I haven't been here too long and thus far have enjoyed my time and learned something in the process. Had one snide remark where the poster assumed I was missing the point but other than that, I have no issues. I think you need to stand up for yourself a little in the threads. That usually will...

    Hornady Auto Charge first impressions

Thank you for the write up. I debated over a few different units before I bought the RCBS. Can't imagine loading without it now.

New Lee priming tool, approved for all brands of primers

Found the articles you were referencing: http://riflemansjournal.blogspot.com/2009/06/primers-small-rifle-primer-study.html and http://riflemansjournal.blogspot.com/2009/06/primers-large-rifle-primer-study.html Holy bejeezub do those Remingtons go!

What are you guys using for resizing lube?

Well I bought some Imperial Wax and used it last night. Slick as snot. Very easy to clean off the cases too. Thank you guys for the recommendation!! :)

New Lee priming tool, approved for all brands of primers

I read Boyd's post. Several times in fact. I too can parrot what was written on the site: In fact it specifically mentions if used improperly. So to go back to my original question. I wonder what about Remington and Federal primers would make them more a detonation risk where Winchester and...

    CNBC Exposes Remington trigger coverup

One thing I didn't see approached in the special was trigger adjustment. Hell, if we used this forum as a test sample I wonder how many "tampered" triggers we'd have in our gun safes. They never mentioned whether or not any of those triggers had been monkeyed with. I also didn't like the example...

    CNBC Exposes Remington trigger coverup

That right there is the answer. Faulty trigger or not, follow these simple rules and I bet 90% of those "accidents" don't happen.

New Lee priming tool, approved for all brands of primers

Nice to see someone finally found enough common sense to create a tray that would hold 100 primers without having to worry about spilling them everywhere. Hard to belief they only approve Winchester and CCI in the old unit. Wonder why Federal or Remington doesn't make the cut.

What are you guys using for resizing lube?

Thanks for all the feedback! Never even thought to use motor oil. Plenty of that sitting around. With the Imperial Sizing Wax, do you use the stuff made by Redding or Imperial Lubricants? Or does it not matter?
