Steve, relative newby here from the desert southwest. My friend bought a bunch of bullet making gear and supplies which includes buckets and buckets of 0.75 6mm J4 jackets from Berger, made years ago. Sounds like you got great results with them. Were you making FB or BT bullets? I made some 67s to test and an about to run a few 62s. What was working for you?

Thanks!

Dear Al,
I read a response that you made regarding removing the firing pin from an older Sako. When I close the bolt, I have to push forward at the very end and I believe that it is the extractor which is stiff or dirty and so I would like to remove it and clean it up. So, how do you remove the extractor from the bolt?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Garret

Jackie you are the original "Look up in the sky! It's a bird. It's a plane. Wait. It's not superman. It's Jackie sailing through drag strip timing lights, over water, without any attached device, even perhaps into outer space. I am jealous. I always wanted to fly. I got to know. Did you have your arms out in front of you like superman? Were you wearing a cape?
Hi Al,
Would you mind sharing your accuracy load for .220 Swift with Accurate 2700? My current pet load is with RL15 and I would like to go to something that is a bit easier on the throat.
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Randy,
I still can't believe it.
My supply of good powder has dwindled to about 2 matches worth.
Too cold and windy to do meaningful testing just yet with possible alternatives.

How are you fixed for bullets? I finally received both .925" and 1.00" jackets.
Hope you have some N-130, as the Lt-30 pricing has gone ballistic!! N-130 is available at several vendors, @ comparatively reasonable prices.
Best regards,
RG

I do not know where to post this but Al Lind's wife has asked me to let everyone in the shooting community know that Al has dementia and can no longer work on rifles.
Someone sent me to Al for a finishing of a custom stock for my Ruger No. 1 V. It did not go well. That is all I am willing to say on this.
