    Seb original rest issues

Seb Original Mine does the same thing...I'm thinking that the shaft was originally glued or locktited in and it has broken down overtime and comes loose.

    Muzzle Brake

I have a Winchester Model 70A with a Ruger S/S sporter barrel chambered in 30-06Ackley. I would like to fit a muzzle brake to this barrel. The diameter at the muzzle is around 0.600". Would there be a problem fitting a muzzle brake with a 1/2"x 28 thread? Thanks Steve

    Howa action thread pitch

howa If you cut metric threads on an imperial lathe its a good idea to lock in the half nuts and then unscrew the half nut lever...its to easy to forget and knock the half nuts out when you get to the end of the thread. Steve

Powder Andy, You will be pleased to know the powder boat has arrived. N133 should be available in QLD very soon if not already in shops. Steve

    Interesting local 'primer story'.

Powder Andy, Read what I said in my post...1 powder shipment per year...Nioa missed the boat...this information comes from Nioa...when I rang Nioa to ask when their shipment of Vihtavouri powder would be here I was told their order was too late to catch the powder boat which only delivers...

    Interesting local 'primer story'.

Powder Andy, The reason we have no Vihtavouri power in Australia at the moment is there is only one powder delivery a year from Finland and Nioa missed the boat...First Fleet was Nioa's transport company that delivered powders to us in New South Wales...Our shop had its last ADI powder...

    Reamer chatter.........

Eddie, Had the exact same problem with a solid pilot reamer from a good brand named reamer maker in 204R...I used baking paper and wrapped it around about 3 times and soaked it in cutting oil...replaced the paper a couple of times and finally got a good finish with no chatter. Steve
