My understanding in Illinois is,if you have a medical marijuana card you cannot buy a firearm. I was in a couple of gun shops this past weekend and they had signs posted.

Jackie, I would give Bill Shehane a call. Bill knows the 6.5x284 and the 284 better than anyone eles in my opinion.

Years ago I used a crankshaft grinder. I put a live center in the Chuck on the tail stock and locked the Chuck so it wouldn't rotate. I would adjust the cross-slide to get the taper I wanted. I was lucky my grinder had a table traverse. Not all crank grinders had a table traverse.

Has it fell out of favor with the bench rest crowd? What is some of the problems with this powder? Anyone care to share any experience about this powder? Thanks for any help and experiences with this powder.

Hey Dusty, I seen where you used a co-axel press. Please tell me the pros and cons about it. I've had one for 3 years now and I am not at all impressed with it.

We and the ATA are very happy.................What does make us the happiest is not having to deal with the cry babies from ohio and pa. So far any trap shooter going to the grand from out of state has not been stopped or had their guns taken.

66-68 gr bullets and 100-200 yards. In 100-200 yard benchrest I never see the 6br on top,only the 6ppc. I'm just curious on why that is.

Gentlemen, why do you think the 6ppc is more accurate than the 6br?

I shot at the grand, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and did not see very many m12s or sx1. When Ed Matunas worked for winchester from 1972 to 1980 he told me they called the sx1 the union gun. It wouldn't work and you couldn't fire it.:D
