If you are using them everyday the Aloris might be justified. For a hobbyist you can buy a Phase 2 and a bunch of tool holders for the same or maybe less money. I have owned my lathe for about 10 years now and have never mounted the 3 jaw on it. Here is a picture of my tool holders. Joe Hynes
