Our NBRSA Eastern Region just lost another one of our great members...

With great sadness, I must report our very good friend, Dave Farrar, just passed away last weekend after the completion of recent back surgery. Dave had been bravely battling cancer for the past several years and will be greatly missed by all of his countless friends throughout all of our Benchrest community.

Dave was true soft-spoken gentleman and also a top shooter within the Eastern Region. Dave shot an .099" group at 200yds. in one of the last matches he attended. He was highly skilled in picking his way through tough, windy conditions to obtain another great group, which I personally witnessed many of times...

Dave is survived by his long time wife, Eleanor, and his son Mike.

Would ask you to please keep Dave and his family in all your thoughts and prayers going forward..

Rest in Peace, Dave!

I met Dave in 2005 at the Super Shoot. I loaded next to him in the barn and we chatted all week long.
He was a great guy. It is sad to hear this.
We have lost another one of the good guys in this sport. Rest easy buddy.
