Belted case problems real or not , Cures?

Maybe I am not reading this right, but I have been told that the belted cases headspace off the belt,? not the shoulder I am not sure if I agree with what you say bout screwing the die all thew way in, and the belted case will be safe to shoot, not for me! belted or non belted. Ron Tilley

    260 Remington (Lapua brass problem)

Hi Jeffrey, you may just consider, trying the Nosler custom .260 brass. I have used it in all my improved and standard .260 chambers, and the brass is top end in my opinion. Hope the TSA gang is doing well! Ron Tilley

Now, what kind of rivalry is that? ignore is too simple, I just want to give a little to you of what you give out! Gee, I hope your not going to ignore that! Ron Tilley

    new NBRSA records

Or the other way around, you easterners could go out west and take em from the west coast shooters, you seem to want rivalry, its yours for the taking. Still you come off like about 80 grit to me. I could care less who owns any records, and I have, and seen alot made, there will...

    new NBRSA records

Shux, I screued up on my spelling, sorry! I try to care tho. Somehow I did not pick up on promotion from your post, rather side-ways speculation. Maybe a re-read on your part, you will see what I mean. Ron Tilley

    new NBRSA records

Hell, I will bite on that one, have you looked in the mirror lately? the odds of record breaking may have merit due to the pure number of shooters and ranges towards the east versus the west, but till it happens, purely speculation on your part! Most of the west coasters are smart...

338 Lapua as a hunting round....

I suppose this may open something up, but why not the 300 grain Sierra on Elk? I have used them for a few years now, and they have been flawless in everything I hit, even 2 mule deer does lined up, went thru both of them, entry and exit looked nearly idetical, shot from 540 yards...

New 600 Yard Shooter Needs Help

Al, I really did not read it clearly, I just voted that my choice would be the 6.5, I think he may be into more options than just 600 br, maybe 1000, maybe he would change and shoot F class, I just thought the 6.5 would be a better choice to start with. take care, Ron Tilley

what to look out for on damaged rem 700

personally, I would think about steering away from it, honestly, I have ran a .308 as hot as just about possible and never had the severity you talk about, really a gunsmith should look at it, you never know, the bolt can be distorted more than showed and the inside of the action may...

    Scopr magnification?

With the NXS 12-42 scopes, at 600 I could usually run at almost full magnification consistantly, but at 1000 with the mirage in play, i would average 18 to 22 power. Ron Tilley

    Jewell trigger SAFETY test

I have had a rifle upside down many times, checking action screws, cleaning, installing bottom metal and so on, Al is more than familar with the works of a bolt action gun and triggers. Ron Tilley

    Very furstrating pressure issues....

To me, I would check the loaded necks on all rounds, I do not think a little more clearance would hurt, I have nothing back my thoughts, other than its a good place to start. may be some build-up in the barrel in the neck area. Is the powder all out of the same can? not blended...
