KLP rear bag.... For my KLP,I use a standard tall Original Edgewood(I think it's 4",double stitching). The lower 3.50" is too short to use with a Farley. Hope this helps. Dan

AND the rifle is no better than the shooter. The best rifle in the world ain't worth diddly if the shooter doesn't point it in the right direction and pull the trigger at the right time. The shooter is the final(and most important) part of the equation.

LT-32 Lots... Lot No. 2 and Lot 3 have been VERY good in my 6PPC's. From 45F to 90F and humidity from about 30 to over 90 Lot No.2 & 3 have been VERY satisfactory. I don't know anything about Lot No. 6. Good luck. Dan

Slipping scope... Had a T/C Contender .44, wound up using "batter's resin" to stop the scope from slipping...........worked great! I shot many,many really heavy loads in that T/C and never had any more problems. I highly recommend dusting upper and lowers. Dan

Kelbly's KLP Stock... I have a KLP on one of my LV rifles and I'm satisfied with it. I did find I needed a taller rear bag(because of the low profile...thinner stock) than for my Mcmillan stocked rifle. The stock is straight and tracks well in the bags. I have no complaints at all. Good luck.

barrel twist.... Lee Martin.....In Tony Boyer's book,Chapter 16,he says that a benchrest bullet must spin at approximately 170,000 rpms in order to stabilize. In Chapter 17,he mentions bullet velocity of over 3300 fps and that a 14 twist barrel will spin the bullet over 250 times before...

Pat B...... I did my own prep work and then had them painted locally by a guy who paints custom motorcycles. I found most of the auto paint shops don't want to mess with small parts...not enough money in painting stocks. Good luck.

thumper4fun.....Be very careful of chemical type paint strippers on fiberglass/synthetic/composite stocks. I just refinished an older McMillan fiberglass BR stock. I resorted to all hand sanding without any paint stripper....a lot more work than using chemical paint strippers. Turned out very...

Phil......You don't have to join the club to be able to shoot. There are daily fee charges if you don't want to join. 100yd line not avail on Monday a.m. & 200yd line not avail on Thursday a.m.(maintenance). Range only closed on Easter,Thanksgiving,and Christmas...
