Think we love our rifles, get this....

They took it a LOT more serious in '51. Stupid wars. 38,000 dead young men and 58 years later, we still have 50,000 guys over there. Korea....that is.

    Dreaded Donut

Francis; I don't believe anyone was concerned about their bullets being seated that deeply, as I doubt any chamber is that shallow. The other reason has been covered. ;)

    Dreaded Donut

What jerry says is true. I have reamed some out but don't anymore. At the time, I questioned (in my own mind) whether the donut would change the burn rate, and if there would be a differance firing one with a donut, backed up by one without. I still question that I guess. Jerry, what are your...

from me either, although I had the slop taken out of the handle with bronze bushings. It is now relatively snug.

    Culver vs Neil Jones

Jerry; I got rid of my B&M ( with the original box) that I bought back in the late 50's or so, because at the time, I was using 3031 and some other long grained stuff and didn't care for the way the kernals were cut off. Bob White ended up with it. The other thing I didn't care for was having to...

Can't get seating measurement with gage.

And I have a Ruger#1v in .223 which when seated to touch the lands with a Sierra 55 gr. is barely in the case as well. Freebore?

Allen Bench Memorial Trophy winner at Tacoma, WA

Mustafa, Yes, I believe that to be true. They sat behind me at last years SS, and asked me a thing or two. Cindy e mailed me and told of her small agg. in the 100 L. It looked to me like 23 thou. seperated her from 1st in the two gun. Do I read that right ? They will be an asset to our sport.

    8208 and sieves...

I'm getting to the end of a jug of 8208, LC 12214, that shoots very well, but is extremely dirty. I have another (as yet) unused jug of TW 18104 that another guy in Cinncinati wants in the worst way, as he is about out of what he has, but I don't care to part with it. When Ron Hoehn had a bunch...

    Fireforming in the PPC.

That's kind of where I was going with this. It is simply how much more you have to expand . No question of how much straighter the necks will be using your method. Thanks James
