That's not what I meant. I think James uses the .262 neck. I can see that .257 May be right for .263. Maybe Jack will weigh in. I know Jack promotes fairly heavy neck tension. FYI if you go to youtube, and search Jack Neary there is video in four or five segments of Jack's seminar in KC. Sorry...

Read it again. Jack shoots a .263 neck. His loaded round measurement is mentioned, his bushing isn't. DW

I shoot both the mentioned bullets in a 22-250 Rem. (factory 14 tw.) with no problems. What kind of velocity are you shooting? Round count? Toast barrels keyhole.

They're fairly standard. I think the post size is whats important. If I recall, it's 3/4 inch. Quick check with your caliper should tell you plenty. DW

soot on the sholder I got some soot all over my shoulders in some loads I shot today. What causes that?

Yes, I need a .250 Bushing. (.252 loaded round) I have carbide bushings for my 6PPC and it's kind of hard to go back. I may end up with one of your .248's but I really need a .250 Thanks, DW
