Larry Costa Conquers Conditions to Win Memorial Shoot at Weikert, PA

Larry Costa swept both 200 yard aggs, both Grands, and, I guess, the 2-gun! Conditions today were extraordinarily difficult with strong winds that switch from green to red in an instant. Larry dominated the 200 yard stages today with everyone else shooting for second place. Russ Boop was second in the 2-gun. Curtis Nelson shot very well all weekend with his 30BR. JD Denoff did not match his exploits at 100 yards, but place very high in the 2-gun More to come on the IBS website and our new partner web site.

This match is the 27th Annual one to honor the memories of Nate Boop and Rich Altemus. Both were the foundations of benchrest shooting at the Union County Sportsmen's Club in Weikert, PA. Russ and Dale Boop are Nate's sons. Awards today were given by Nate's grand-daughter Rachel (Dale's the father).
 
Anyone that shoots that well in that MESS, knows their $hit!

And of course, a very well run match by the Weikert crew!
