Speaking from the past, if you find a particular lot of jackets that shoot well, get a loan and buy as many as you can. Really good jackets are better than good jackets and they cost the same.

I had a 30BR barrel on my rail...probably the first ever 30BR to be fired competitively in the NBRSA group scene. Like Jackie wrote - the recoil was completely unsuitable for the rail gun.

Just off the top of my head, where most things come these days, I don't think a drop port action is a good idea for a rail gun. Again, I'm probably grossly mistaken!

Just read the rules and make a judgment for yourself. That is not foolproof though, particularly if you're pushing a rule, but in the end, you'll know as well as everybody else. It's just $500 or so depending on how far you drove...peanuts!!

Bob - if it's not too big of an answer, why is it that a single tuner setting won't work at all distances. If it is too big just say so as I really meant that. I don't want to fully answer some things as the internet would run out before I did.

I had the same trouble as GeneT but I set all the PM items to "yes" in the general settings. Of course, I just about had to do that being the moderator of sorts but I don't miss many this way.... If I seem to miss a PM it's because I deleted the email and forgot to read the PM.

I had a set of dies that did the same thing. The dies were hand held and "push through completely" dies. I had a doodad that screwed in my loading press that held the die straight while the case was pressed through with a ram. There were four dies with different size holes and you started...

I just wrote this to a friend.... "Golden Years" is a joke that's never funny. When we're younger it sounds like something special but when we're "Golden" we discover that the term was a big joke and it ain't funny. I suppose it is, but you have to say it and laugh really fast.
