That's a bit strange, Maybe you should bring that boat down to the Illinois river where them Asian carp jump right in the boat. Wouldn't that be a blast with a shotgun when they are out of the water ?

Are you guys having an epidemic of Asian Carp. Is it just in the rivers, in the lakes, or both?
None in the Great Lakes YET. The government is wasting tons of money to keep them out. There is a fight to close off commerce between Illinois river and the lakes. Look up electric fish Barrier in Chicago on the Illinois.

They are not yet in our lake here, ( lake Michigan) but will be if they aren't stopped south of us. WE have the finest salmon and huge trout fishing to be found anywhere. It would be a pity if they entered here. The world record brown trout was taken here 2-3 years ago. In the high 30# range, ( ugly too) a brown that large.
Bigger than any Chinook taken in our annual contest.
