    fitting a RamAge barrel

Possible Fix If you are using the stock Remington recoil lug you could go to one of the thicker lugs and then see where the marking is in relation to where you want it and remove the correct amount of materiel to make it so. The materiel may have to be from the lug or from the shoulder of the...

    Milling a small slot, how??

Think carbide but remember to keep cutting speeds correct A carbide end mill might help as they are more rigid but make sure your setup is tight. ie gibs snugged up a little drag induced so there is no way for anything to grab or jump when the cutter is working.

    22 LR bushings

Will look up sizes I recently threaded my CZ for a suppressor, I had to use a different set of deltronics to indicate the bore true than the deltronics that are normally used on most other 22 rimfire bores. The CZ had a smaller diameter. I will try to go look at my notes out in the work shop...

    Threading close to a shoulder

Get a LH insert thread holding tool and turn it upside down and then thread away from the shoulder you don't want to run in to. Just make sure when you start you have enough travel for the infeed for the depth of thread that you will not run into the shoulder. HTH John

I have put screws into the holes when I have opened these up. I know they are a different hardness but at least it wasn't a interrupted cut and it is kinder to the carbide inserts. G'Day John aka Bungalow Bill
