Approaching max. velocity - discoloration in muzzle-area?

    - Sure your gesture / movements at cleaning are the very same or as "intense" at chamber and muzzle side ? - Barrel lapping choke/cone fitted the wrong way on action with small dia fitted on receiver side and large dia on muzzle side ? Here, stainless Lothar-Walther barrels have the...

    Arthritis

My wife is suffering of rheumato-polyarthritis and have been on plaquenil for almost 2 decades. It helped her a lot. Plaquenil is a trade mark by SANOFI lab but is almost only HCQ. Some of you may remember the cytokines storm story some 4 years ago. Long use of HCQ IS damaging the retina but a...

Who did these modifications on a Leupold?

Gentlemen, With all respects, I disagree with some of the above. Apart from the use of a 6x scope that furthermore might be 1/4" click @ 100yd, I do consider the HBR challenge is also in : - handling a gun that kicks all day long . I mean gun handling, recoil management, all day long, also...

    Bullet making pics.

I am very happy to see that thread back to life. Thanks to all. Unfortunately, I am still unable to reach all the other threads I bookmarked a few years ago before I started in bullet making. Never got any answer from Elmer about the new platform search function failing to find any, despite I...

Who did these modifications on a Leupold?

Should the rules allow for a weight increase next year, that will open the door for the extra weight of 30 mm tubes and side para (and zooming system). I am just feeling disappointed about the need (and subsequent refusal) of manufacturers to "gear up" for the reduced HBR market. HBR...

Who did these modifications on a Leupold?

Same issue here. The HBR, which I and some buddies do like very much, is coming to an end because of no scope available on the market. More and more are switching to VFS. Went into a discussion with a Czech manufacturer (Valiant) for a 6x HBR and got the same answer, no market. Even when I...

Who did these modifications on a Leupold?

The erector tube has some kind of a 2 axis pivot at one end having some kind of a "cv joint effect". Should that pivot get some play after huge scope use, no modification at turret level will ever solve the issue.

Hi Gentlemen, Hope the turkey tasted good. Would like to get in touch with those of you who succeeded in making their own core swagging and core seat tools for 6mm br bullets. I will appreciate you share about your experience, how to and material used. We can go here or pm, your choice. Many...

Who did these modifications on a Leupold?

Hi Gents, What about fogging in such a modified scope ? Does it need a nitrogen re-purge from time to time ? I mean, I can understand a Tucker's or PosiLock being moisture / air proof and "keep" the nitrogen inside, but the Delrin screws ??

Does cleaning brass cases help accuracy?

+1 to leave "some" carbon inside the neck. Cleaned to bone shiny neck interiors feel uneven at sitting bullet. With regards to exterior, I belong to the shiny and <50% at group shooting, shiny and top 3 this year for the hunter class. I dislike leaving carbon on my necks. It tends to built a...

Hi, A big thank you for keeping that site up and running. I bookmarked some old threads on the "old" site. Bookmarks do not work anymore. No surprise. Knowing thread titles from my bookmarks, I tried to access the threads using the search functions in the new site. Doesn't work either title...

    On Electric Cars:

To go back to EV, I 'd like to add a few things : There was a Nissan buy back program of "leaf" cars in Phoenix because batteries were unable to face winter/summer huge temperature variation and quickly lost their charge holding/retaining ability. In France we already have several EV which...

    prvi priming problem

Mines do not. In case of too much conical shape of the primer pocket, which SHALL be corrected because of very hard priming or impossible priming with my tooling, all my uniformers do get stuck inside the pocket one depth or another, whatever the rpm, lube and feed speed. No pressure screw...
