    Is Photobucket pissing...

I don't know if they had a name but Gene Bukys sold them. He glued up the scope so it would quit changing it's P.O.I. and used the mounts to sight-in. I had two sets and they worked perfectly for me.

Those scope mounts are worth their weight in plutonium.

Probably... I just checked my calendar. So far it looks O.K. for your early August match. I kinda like the drive over there I will do it if I can.

Boyd, This is the first image I uploaded to Imgur. My new benchrest rifle. The site is a tad confusing to navigate but I'll practice. I'm happy. Dick

    My new benchrest rifle...

The first target I shot in the rifle's first match. The range was 100 yds. I kinda yanked on the trigger on the number one bull... new gun, new trigger, three years of very little shooting. What can I say? I think there's potential here. This is an 8-1/4 lb. gun with an 8X scope.

    My new benchrest rifle...

Try again. O.K. this is the other side of the completed rifle. The color is washed out here. The one above is better. Again, image by Imgur.

    My new benchrest rifle...

Try again... That's better. I'll delete the above. This is the pic that was supposed to be in the post above image from Photobucket. Anyway, there's a few detail left to do and a lot of tuning. It's not shooting like it did a year ago when I shot it in the pattern stocks.

    My new benchrest rifle...

Now that the gun is pretty much done, I will try to get some better pictures. We'll see if Photobucket will let me post this. Dick

Obviously Dick Wright wasn't there... Glorya and I have both been having health problems and I can't get to every match I'd like to. Right now my gun is brand new and isn't shooting as well as I would like. I'm working on it. It's the only remotely suitable gun I have now. Francis is right...

I've used it a lot recently. Now they want $400.00 or I can't post pictures on websites.

Joe, I didn't mean to leave you out of anything... I haven't been able to very active the last few years and I honestly didn't know... What I do know is that, for a club match up in the Northwoods, you got a lot of really good shooters to beat if you want to win here. It gives me warm, fuzzy...

Matt, a lot of our shooters probably don't know this but Kenny Hottenstein won the Super Shoot back around 2000. It doesn't feel too bad when you got beat by a guy good enough to win the Super Shoot. Each year the benchrest shooters of the world come to Kelbley's Range to see who's best in the...

Hey, Andy... you use a bench gun to shoot bunnies. I shoot a varmint rifle for benchrest. I don't have any problem with that. It appears that Photobucket which has always been a P.I.A. is screwing around with me. They want money or they aren't cooperating on pics now. Click on their circle to...

Time to 'fess up... I shot it in the match Saturday and did very poorly. Finally decided that two things were wrong... First, I need to work on the fore end bedding. It shot well in the factory stocks. Properly bedded, it should shoot now. Secondly, the shooter was woefully lacking. In my last...
