Wilbur survives a 5-bypass open heart surgery by the grace of God!

I'm OK for the moment.... Elmer won't let me smoke a cigarette though and that's getting to me quickly...very quickly. It's good that I have somebody like Elmer that will see it through!!! Hey, I made a pretty good pot of soup and wish Y'all had some. Thanks to all for the good wishes! Wilbur

It doesn't take much at all to cause a "guns and stuff" buying panic.

Cleaning the rimfire....How much is enough ?

Here's the deal. I know that some rifles shoot a bit better at some point but it seems that the owners don't know exactly when that point will occur...and even worse, when it will pass. If your rifle will not shoot competitively after cleaning and fouling then you simply have to get another...

    Prp bullets

Francis is correct, as usual! You just have to shoot them to know. Most hand swaged bullets are good bullets but there's some difference (don't know what and neither do you) in the individual rifles, powder, load, etc,,, that cause one bullet to shoot more accurately than another in a...

    Hall M rifle action

If there's anything left of my memory I'm pretty sure it's a screw it in and lock it down...but not exactly. Pretty sure you have to screw it in until the holes line up before you put the screw in. Easy to take apart...not so easy to put back together as you can't see what you're doing...

    Primer pockets

I'll ask a question... If you were winning and discovered your primers were leaking and pitting your bolt face...would you stop doing whatever you were doing to save your bolt face?

How to Stop Tails from getting Tangled

I'm in the minority on this but a balanced flag might not work as well as one being a bit tail heavy. It's not about the balance but rather the relationship of area one side to the other. There's one thing you can do to test this...move the pivot away from the tail and try it.

    Primer pockets

I can answer the question as asked. Yes, it will. I didn't experience this just once but rather many times.

    Scope zero/ wind reading.

Set that first flag closer to the rifle. The wind at the bench will hurt badly if you don't see it...any wind.

    Scope zero/ wind reading.

Blades tells the truth I haven't fired a shot in years so take this with a little salt... ________________________________________________ In addition, use the sighter to determine where to hold. Some days you don't have enough ammo or sighter targets (or time) to do it. Rarely can you find...
