    Are nodes linear?

If you find 2 nodes that are, lets say, 150 fps apart, will the next node be in another 150 fps if you can reach it, or can/will it be somewhere else?

Full length sized brass does not fit

Are you pushing the face of the belt back with the belt die? That is what can cause the belt diameter, especially at the top of the belt to swell and not fit the c'bore of the chamber. Check it. It should only size the diameter of the belt, not set it back. I'd go with the full length die only...

    Throat angle

If you change the throat angle, say from the SAAMI spec of 47' 33" to 1* 30' on a given cartridge, will that increase chamber pressure with everything else being equal?

Full length sized brass does not fit

Make sure you do not have the die too far down. I have seen this before in some dies where you can actually distort, stretch & swell the belt making it too large for the chamber. The .004-.005 measurement says to me that you are stretching the case. Measure the belt on a once fired case and then...

Changing neck diameter in a chamber

Mike I thought about that too. But since you mentioned the neck reamer......how do you check the depth to make sure you are far enough in or not too deep? Kind of the same thing I was asking with the other example.

Changing neck diameter in a chamber

If someone had a 6.5 chamber reamer and wanted to chamber a barrel for an identical cartridge in 7mm and had a proper size machine reamer to open the neck diameter, what would be the best way to check the neck length/depth while the barrel was still in the lathe? Example: a 260 Remington to a...

    Youth/Women Rifle

I just saw a picture of the "Macho". Looks kind of stout to start a small girl on, especially in a light weight hunting rifle. You may want to consider a .243 for starters and if all goes well, then switch it over. Just a suggestion.

    Youth/Women Rifle

Savage makes a model 11 Lady Hunter rifle. Short action calibers are 223, 243, 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm-08. It doesn't say what the LOP is, but it does have an American Walnut stock with a pad that could be cut down if need be. http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/11Lady I'm not sure what a...

    stole - grizzly II bolt

And BTW........you may want to consider backing your load off. You're just wrecking your brass with those pressures.

    stole - grizzly II bolt

When I say soak it.....I mean take the firing pin assembly out & submerse the bolt head with the retaining pin out.. After it soaks, try a pointy scriber or dental pick to rotate it back & forth. You may get lucky.

    stole - grizzly II bolt

It's call the ejector. It looks like you have fired high pressure loads. Generally in this situation, when the bolt is opened, the edge of the ejector hole will shave brass off of the case head. The shaving get stuck between the hole & ejector pin not letting it pop back up. I'd try soaking it...
