WWCCA Shooter Wallace Beauford passes.

It is with much regret that I report that my great friend and one of the hardest working bechrest shooters at our local range WWCCA in Plymouth, MI has passed away today.

Wallace has touched quite a few of the benchrest competitors here at WWCCA not so much from what he accomplished on the range. But, by what he continually tried to accomplish. He was a great sportsman and hunter, especially in his quest for the Sheep Grand Slam. Wallace was able over his hunting career to successfully get three of the four in the Grand Slam.

I, personally, learned from Wallace that it is always important to never give up.

The funeral arrangements are for Saturday September 17th at 11:00 AM at the James H. Cole Funeral Home at Schaefer and Puritan in Detroit..

I am very saddened to hear of Wallaces' passing. He was always a gentlemen, and even though he never managed to do very well in BR, he always showed up and tried. He will be missed.

I never got to know Wallace real well but I know I liked him. Rest in peace Wallace.

Yes Wallace was a great guy. Always talked to him an he never gave up. Remember the day at the awards at Western Wayne a few years ago when Wallace won a match winner pin? The place went nuts, guys were standing up cheering for him. I won't forget that or the look on his face. Rest in peace Wallace.

I only knew Wallace from WWCCA and unfortunately for me, not real well. I do however know of his ailment. I also know how much he liked BR and how much he tried to do well. I personally will miss his greeting and his smile. May the Lord hold him in his hand and bring him peace. God bless you Wallace.

Joe, I had a chance to meet Wallace thru your bringing him to the Harrison matches a couple of times.

He impressed me as a real gentleman. His passing diminishes all of us.
