WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA LONG RANGE GROUNDHOG SHOOTERS
2012 WORLDS’ CHAMPIONSHIP

SOUTH FORK RIFLE CLUB, BEAVERDALE, PA.
Sept...29th and Sept 30th TWO-DAY SHOOT
Groundhog targets at 100, 300, and 500 yards.
Five shots at each range for score.
Sat. & Sun. scores added together for match total.
Ties are broken by reverse count.
All shooting done seated, at benches.
Entrance Fee- $ 40.00 per gun—NO REFUNDS

FACTORY- rifle must have original factory barrel, stock, and action. Gun maybe bedded, trigger work allowed, any power scope safety must work.
FACTORY SUPER STOCK- Any gun that qualifies for super stock at the regular matches.
CUSTOM- any rifle that the barrel, stock, action, or caliber has been modified or customized. Any non-factory production rifle. Any factory rifle that is made in the custom shop. Any rifle match director deems to be in Custom Class. 20 Pound Limit.
No sharing rifles.Call for other rules questions.
PRIZES
Cash prizes in each class. The number of shooters in each class will determine prizes.
A large number of merchandise prizes will be drawn from a lottery; each shooter will be given a ticket and will be eligible to win some very nice prizes.
EVENTS
Fri. Sept. 28th range will be open 9 AM –6PM for sight-ins and equipment inspections.
Sat. Sept. 29th 8:00AM-8:30 AM equipment inspections for those that need it. Match begins at 9AM. Sat. after the groundhog match an EGG MATCH will be shot. EGG at 500 yards for cash prizes. At end of shooting Sat. range is closed. No practice. Sun. Sept 30th 9 AM match starts.
*Match Limited to 165 guns. Registrations taken starting April 15th .
At the end of the match scores will be computed and then prizes will be awarded.

Kitchen and range facilities will be open from Fri. morn till the end of Sun. A variety of home cooked food will be available all weekend. Camper sites info on our webpage.

This is a great match with a great turnout, usually between 135 to 160 guns, I can think of shooters from at at least 8 different states, . Along with a good cash payout there are some very nice prizes being donated by Savage, Nightforce, and Leupold just to mention a few. There are plenty of other games to enter for additional cash payouts.

If you haven't shot at this range before come to the last regular match scheduled for Sept. 16th and get yourself familiar with the way things are run. A good time will be had by all.

If you think your up for the challenge stop by, don't forget to bring your "A" game.

The road work near Sidman and RTE 160 that was closed last weekend will be completed for the Championship match. All roads are now open so you can come in your usual route. See ya this weekend. E-z ups and such will be setting up on Friday. There will be a vendor with Powder, bullets, primers and shooting supplies set up this year.Frank has a full menu planned for the weekend. See you soon.
