Great shooting by the guys and girls (again) Mike. Ron certainly seems to have that TM1000 well sorted.

I received my AA Pro Target back from the gunsmith after a service and tune up. As soon as I get it glued back together I’ll shoot my BIPM cards as well

I’ll bet those TM stocks don’t break that easily :D

Brian,

To help strengthen it at the point of the break might I suggest adding some sort of dowel or cookie drilled into and glued between the two sections. I'm no carpenter, but that is what I'd do. Maybe Todd Banks will chime in as he's a full-blow finish carpenter and will know exactly what to do.

By the way, Ron, another great set of scores posted by you and the rest of the Wild River crowd. Congratulations to all, and I'm sure glad that TM is on your side of the continent as I've got enough trouble trying to keep my head above water facing the guns that are already out here. Great shooting, that's for sure!

Brian,

Very little is stock (pun intended) TM on Ron's rifle including the stock! ;) You can see it on the US Air Rifle Benchrest home page in the upper right hand corner. Just look for the black aluminum stock with redwood for end and butt & a Leupold scope.

Just like the AA EV-2 have seen two of them break!

What a shame!

Mike, Great shooting by all !

Ron, Congrats on the 750 !!! Is that the first 750 with the RAW??

Steve great X count on your 250!

Have any of you used the ON-Target software? Would love to see the composit of your 25 shots?

Dave,

I’ve sent the stock off to a professional stock builder and that’s exactly what he’s going to do (fit a wooden dowel).

On the bright side I do like this rifle, after playing with the action/barrel and putting it over a chrono. Very easy to load. It has a 16.5” barrel which may be a CZ (don’t know), holding 775/783fps with 8.4gr pellets - I have a good feeling.

Steve,

I didn’t know Ron had an aluminium stock, that would certainly alleviate any fear of breakage, although the standard TM stocks are built like a tank anyway.

Paul,

Ouch wasn’t exactly the word I used when I opened the case, but it was certainly an expletive.

Scoring by hand

Plus, for some scorers, it's extra income. No, that's not a salary.

Back in business, looks like a good repair, should have it back tomorrow :D

Hopefully in one piece this time.

Great shooting with the TM1000 Ron. I got an 'indoors' personal best with mine the other week - 250 21x but to get those results on three strait cards is some shooting. Well done.
