Wichita BR rifle, iformaiton urgently needed

It would appear to be an early Witchita 1375 rifle. Your picture isn't great but it should be a 7/8" bolt, 3 lug. In their day they were pretty good. After they came with that one they followed up with a RBLP version, I believe the first to do so. I'd guess early '80's is what it dates to.
It should have a polished bolt body, cannot really tell from your image. They did make a much less expensive shell holder action as well.

Thanks. I know what it is. I purchased Wichita arms about a year ago. I received several calls about this rifle and the story changed each time. I m trying to determine if it might have been stolen. Thanks

See response to other thread you posted

Being that you have purchased a firearms manufacture, you likely have a manufacturers FFL. I would suggest contacting your local ATF office and providing them the information on the rifle.

If the gun was obtained from another party by the former owner, they may have surrendered their A&D records to the ATF when they closed shop. There should be an acquisition record for that SN in the records they surrendered to the ATF.

I would start there for answers.....

Other reply deals with Lost and Stolen reports filed with the ATF and asking them to search for SN, model, caliber and maker to see if reported lost or stolen.

Wichita WBR1375

Traphouse -

Howdy !

My WBR1375 is s/n 15.

FWIW:
It came to me w/o a shiny bolt body..... it was more like a satin gray appearing surface finish.

There was no Wichita Arms " bullseye " logo, on the Lt side of the action.

Wichita

That apparently is pretty typical for the 1375. I think especially if Wichita just sold a receiver to a smith or a build.
