Wichita Action

I have a Wichita model 1375 Benchrest Action. The serial number is 181 and it is in good condition. Oh, the bolt face is the regular PPC not coned.

Anyone know when it was made?

What price should I put on it if I were to put it in the classifieds?

Howdy !

I have Wichita action WBR1375 s/n 15.

Mine was made in the mid 1970's.

To my knowldege, Wichita is STILL in-business. They assembled a brand-new Wichita " Mini " action for me in 2007 ( The very last one they made ).

You can contact Wichita, and ask them to tell you when your action was made.

I realy like my Wichita WBR1375, and will probably keep using it as the action of choice for all my custom accuracy rilfes.

I believe early 80's. My first one was a RB LP HV I found in PS, unfired, smithed by this Fred Sinclair guy, Painted by Tom Meredith on a McMillan stock, on a shelf in a hardware store in Alabama, out the door $500......with a resizing die.
