Ive been looking at the nf scopes for a while but with so many different reticals its hard for me to choose one so i guees that im going to have to ask the guys that use them.

The rifle is going to be used for mostly 600 yrd shooting with a very little bit of hunting its going on a 30-378 weatherby. An i dont realy know what power i want 8x32 or 12x42,the reticals ive looked at are the np-2dd an the np-r1 but are there any better choices.

So can someone please help this rookie out. I dont want to have to buy stuff a dozen times. Thanks
 
You might get as many personal preferences in replies as there are reticle choices. My mentor favored the NP-R2 reticle and that is what all of my NF scopes have had as the reticle. I like the simplicity of it for 600 yd. shooting.
