What happened to the 'San Jacinto Cup' traveling trophy??

after looking through some old (early 90's) precision rifleman magazines, i read an article about a traveling trophy in the Gulf Coast region.

anyone know where it is now or what happened to it?

Looks Like

A trophy that Seymour has for Unlimited/Heavy Varmint each year. At one time, the trophies were in Midland, Texas.

That's a pretty cool article you came upon and to see all those names and how far it dates back... Way to go !!
 
I think

I got lucky one year and got to put my name and agg on the trophy. There are several of the old trophies. They were covered with dust and grime. I polished and refinished the three I kept for a year. You will see Mike Conry's name on many of the tags.

There is a large silver cup for the Unlimited Grand as well. 62 year old trophies this year.

Man those are really nice and you did a good job keeping them looking good......That is some serious polishing required.......
