Anybody have any good recipes for Vhitavouri in 308 Winchester, I am going to try some in the near future and was wondering if anyone had any good info.
 
N540 & N550 are interesting for the lighter & heavier projectiles weights respectively. However, loads are very dependent on how much throat you have to play with.

I can get 2700 fps plus out of a 208/210 grainer loaded out to beyond 3.05" OAL.
 
In 20 to 22 inch short barrel hunting rifles I have been using N-133 in Laupa brass with 150 gr tips. Velocity is 2850+.
 
Berger 175 Hunting VLD's with 550 = 2860fps, Lilja 3 groove 26in. tight no turn chamber, Lapua brass
 
guess i should have added I shoot a 700P Remington with 168 gr bullets out of a 26 barrel.
 
I use VV N550 with a 167 grain Lapua Scenar in my 308's and it works great.
 
N150 works well with 155-175gr. bullets in a 308. Check Viht's website for recommended loading data.
 
VV135, 42gr, 2.972" OAL, 2624 fps, nice group of 5 shots at 100m 0.5MOA maximum

Case S&B , .335 bushing,
Primer CCI BR2

Next load is quite slow but very accurate at 100m:
VV135,41gr,2.874" OAL,2500fps, first group was 0.3MOA and second 0.5MOA
Bullet Lapua 167gr Scenar
same case and bushing
same primer

rifle is CZ 550 Varmint, both loads were in lands 0.012".
