To dot or not to dot in a 36x scope.(rimfire)

My advice to you and to every other person is to ask the top shooters what they use and why!!!! I use 1/8 Target Dot and on windy days I can change my aim point much easier with Target Dot. But that is what I like... But as for what is best ask shooters who win Nationals what they use!!!!!!!! Then try scopes with both CH and Dots then make your decision on what to purchase!!
 
If your looking for scope rings for benchrest shooting I recommend the following. They make them in 30 mm and 1 inch single screw or double screw. They make them to fit davis bases or 11mm hall, anshutz etc... They make them in offset and straight with offset being great for benchrest shooting! They cost $70 for single screw $75 for double screw. And there silver...I hope this helps...
