I am wondering what criteria Time uses to pick their "person of the year"? I see they chose Obama? Didn't they also choose Adolf Hitler in 1938?

Sorry if I offended anyone, but I am curious how person of the year is chosen

I'm going to guess that "person of the year" is the person who singly had the largest effect on society. :)

"Good" and "Bad" are individual assessments.

I, for one, am happy that they didn't call Obama 'Man of the Year'. That would be a grievous insult. Personally, I think he is a poor example of a carbon based life form...

Perhaps because he CARES....about important things like gay rights, carbon credits, gov't benefits to all, & ridding the nation of black guns. Fiscal responsibility .....naahhh not so much .....morality.....NOPE.

According to Time's head guy, Barry gathered up the moron vote which hasn't been done before. Some call this the "low information" voter.

Time doesn't differentiate between good or bad. I'll let you decide on their pick. I have my opinion.
