After installing a SS barrel on a blued receiver has anyone had trouble with the thread lube/anti seize seeping out when coating the barreled action with Ceracoat or one of the other after market coatings ?

Tread Lube

You can buy all the antiseize you want, but nothing works any better than high temperature bearing grease. Anti Seize has very little anti corrosion properties, and tends to dry up over the years. Your action will never get hot enough from use to melt the high temperature bearing grease. The Machinist Handbook the "Bible on threads" recomends grease as the best anti seize out there. I have been using it for over 40 years and never had a barrel seize up after being lubricated with grease.

Yup. I pre warm the barrelled action and wipe it again. Normally use lots of moly extreme hi pressure assembly grease. Best solution I found was to use less grease.
