Charles,Well, I've been shooting the 118-10s at 200 -- BC around ,350. What's that compute out to? Never paid that much attention to straight BC numbers, even in the 1K guns. Now, variance in BC is a whole other can of worms.
It probably swings the advantage back to the 30. But there are higher BC bullets than 0.27 available on the 6mm side, too. If you compare the highest BC 30 and 6mm bullets, the 30's may be too heavy to shoot at the velocities we are accustomed to in a 13.5 lb rifle, while the 6's still have reasonable recoil.
