the arkansas state shoot

august 6 and 7 is the arkansas state championship and the great razorback turkey shoot.

the only problem is as of yesterday turkeys were unobtainable. my supplier is working on that.

i will have something, even if it is watermelons.

.

turkeys have been acquired for the turkey shoot.

i will bring a ready to shoot benchrest rifle for any one wanting to shoot.

The stars are not aligned for me to shoot the match this year but this a competitive and fun shoot at a great range with great shooters
and some amazing aggs. Add in good food, good loading facilities, well run by John Henry and son it's a great match

I heard through the grapevine. Joe Hargadine won everything ,in some extremely challenging wind conditions.

Good shooting Joe.

challenging

conditions were quite sporty. if you did not like what you saw all you had to do was wait 10 seconds and it would reverse.
temps were reasonable with a high of 93 as we shot the last match Saturday. the gentile 12 mph breeze was welcome between matches.

Sunday was about the same with a high of 90 as we shot the last match.
Jason did win a yardage. way to go young'un..

but joe was just consistent as you could be. he won all the yardages but one.
