OK now I remember back about 30 years ago we used "Suave Spray Antiperspirant Deodorant, Powder" on bags.

Worked great and now I found out they still make it.

HOWEVER it smells as bad as dryer sheets.

Try UHMW polyethylene powder ..apply with a brush
