Something to minimize damage when your hearing protection should have been in place,

ears

Howdy !

For me, my constant tinitus and working around frequent loud noise; has lead to my wearing foamy ear plugs almost 24/7. At work, at church, at parties, etc etc.
It has proven effective @ moderating loud percussive sounds that I encouter unexpectedly... like the loud noise from riviting machines @ the aerospace company where I work.
People often light-off the riviter.... w/o first warning folks ther are going to do so.
I also wear foamies in-lieu of full ear muffs when mowing.... when the mower has a decent muffler.

Foamies + muffs is th eway-to-go when shooting, power saw useage, hammering; and on.... and on. At inside PBR rodeos, concerts... you pick.

Foamies also ( for me ) help screen-out undesireabe back ground noise; and help me better discriminate free speech in noisy environments.

Seems promising, Boyd.

I wonder how they administer the magnesium, and what the side effects are?

Also, does it need to be started very soon after the insult, i.e. would it do any good to start weeks/months/years later? Probably not.
