Looking for advice on good mounts and rings . I have used Burris and have hade good luck. Just bught a new rifle in 22-250 and would liket to put a good set of mounts and rings on it. Any thoughts?

I like to use a one piece (for rigidity) windage base so that I can optically center my scope and then bore sight for windage with the windage screws. I've been using Leupold bases and rings (Burris are fine). I wanted to put a 20 MOA base on a Savage and had to use a picatinny rail with no windage adjustment so I used Burris Zee rings and Posi-Align inserts and used a .005" insert to bore sight for windage. With the Burris inserts you don't have to lap and bed your rings. - nhk

I like Davidson bases and Kelbly rings, available through Sinclair.

Available for Remington 700 and 40X and Browning A-bolt.
