In the 70s (early) I rode my bike (sophmore year)to school rifle/shotgun cased tied to the handlebars.Principle kept in office. Junior/Senior year rifle/shotgun kept in locker (principle OK'd).2009 My boy writes a fantacy story about guns (in the story) and the wife and I get called for a conferance and a letter is put in his PERMANANT school file..........BTW AUSTIN MN. DOES NOT ALLOW FIREARM SAFTEY TO BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS , NOR ON SCHOOL PROPERTY. I took my Firearm Saftey class in a KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM.
