Richard,,,,,,It was great to meet you over at Oak Ridge. Nice bunch of guys from the West.

Congratulations on that fine group and score. Things just seem to get tighter and tighter at 600 yards. That is what makes it fun.

Congratulations to a fine fellow!, I love to hear of great shooting!
I have heard it said by some that small single target records are luck?
But I saw first hand at the IBS 600 Yard Nationals this year how well you had your rifle tuned and you certainly have the skills to shot it the best of it capabilitys! Certainly in this instance it was definitely NOT LUCK!

Richard -- Congratulations!!!! ..... it is deserving of your talent an dedication.

Happy Shooting

Several years ago I heard it said that small groups are shot when preparation and opportunity meet. I very much believe this. You can call opportunity luck if like but unless you are prepared you will not likely acheive the ultimate.

Great shooting Richard, That would be a double record in Light Gun.

Way to go Richard ! These record groups just keep getting smaller and not by just a little bit . Give us some of the details .

Rodney

Thanks guys

I like to claim "I just got lucky" what with light switchy 10:00 o'clock to 2:00 o'clock head winds all morning and being able to pull this off requires a lot of "luck".

Group size was .634" with a score of 50 in heavy gun class

A photo of the group is an attachment in the next reply from "Waterdog" Thanks Larry.

Thanks

Some shooters do well at their home range. Richard shoots very good at a lot of ranges.
Way to go, Richard.

Congratulations Richard...

That is absolutely awesome shooting! You are the very reason that I chambered a Dasher... Actually, I have chambered several Dashers lately because of the way they have performed. You seem to have them down pat. Congratulations again Richard, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I have a photo, but am unable to figure out how to attach to this thread.

If anyone with the skills required to attach a photo would like to do this for me, please shoot me an email at sschatz@westriv.com and I'll send the photo your way.

Thanks

Richard Schatz

I think your just being humble Richard. Anyone who has watched you shoot knows that you read the wind very very well.
If you would email the picture to agconsult1@yahoo.com I'd be happy to post it for you.
I just wanted to see what such an awesome group looked like on the target.

Congratulations again.
