Weather is getting nicer and going to start reloading for the Sako I picked up this winter, 6ppc repeater that hasn't ever been shot.
Question I have- after reading countless articles on guys using 58gr and 65gr Vmax out to 300 for varmints and coyotes with incredible accuracy, I'm waning to go that route. I am finding conflicting data on what might be max loading on this...
V133 power, new Norma 6ppc brass, CCI Br primer. I've heard this round likes to be pushed, but this is my first experience with a 6ppc. I reload a bunch, just looking for an area that I might be seeing or feeling pressure signs is all. I would like to get all the accuracy out of her with these couple possible bullets as I can. I know at some charges near peoples guns maximum charge that they shoot bug holes.
Thanks for any advice.
