We held a double SOTY today. Other than a short delay for a stray shower, we had a pretty good day. Things got a little tricky when the Sun hit that rain soaked ground. Thanks to all who helped and Congrat's to all the winners! S. Ga. Boy

As usual, Leonard put on a great shoot and a fun day, with the exception of the short rain delay, which he used to feed us. Twas a long and hard day, but a great time was had by all. Am looking forward to the "Catfish Shoot in August. Thanks again, Leonard and Richard, had a good time.

Bill - Looks like you shot pretty good! This has always been a great match to attend. The competition and hospitality are second to none.

Leonard's Shoot

Hey Wilbur,
Just goes to show you that even a blind squirrel will find a acorn, once in a while. By the end of 12 targets, I was tuckered out for sure. I really enjoy shooting with Leonard and crew and looking forward to the "Catfish Shoot" in Aug. Why don't you and Elmer slip on down and join in the fun? Hope to see ya soon. Bill:):)

I ain't got enough bullets to shoot 12 targets! Would be a blast to come and maybe help out a little though. It's not so far to Leonard's range...if you say it really fast.

Keith Gantt, my old centerfire buddy, called a couple of days ago and invited me to the Chattanooga ARA match. During the call he began to explain what they did at such a match and I didn't stop him. I don't think he knows that I was over my head for years shooting rimfire. I do know that the ARA target is difficult for me and as many times as we went to the Chattanooga club to test our centerfire rifles I don't think I ever shot a good group there. Maybe there will be a bystander that will shoot my rifle. :)

Do you have a RF BR rifle Mr Wilbur? Care to share specs on it?

It's a 10.5 LB Turbo...shoots pretty good with the right ammo....and the competitor can stand to wait for a good condition.

BTW - I was almost last at the Chattanooga match. Keith was way higher than me and had the highest score. I'm thinking this 10 year old ammo ain't what it used to be. Could be that I ain't what I used to be. I'm going with the former but I fear the latter is the case.

Wilbur,
You can re-constitute your old ammo. I have some old RWS with dried up bullet lube and I asked on rimfire central if it could
be made to shoot well again. There was an old thread on how to re-lube it and make it shoot again!
Not sure how you need to re-lube your self though!!
