Ron Mendenhall Passes

Scott Hunter called a few hours ago and ask me to let the Benchrest Community know that Ron Mendenhall passed away this morning.

Ron was an active Shooter in the Gulf Coast Region untill his health deterioated a couple of years ago. We offer our prayers for Him and to His Familly.........jackie
 
I met Ron about the same time as Glenn and I as well enjoyed listening to what he had to say. I remember shooting with him in Seymour. He will be missed thru out the region.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all for this loss.
 
I sure hate to hear this. I liked Ron. Hadnt seen him in a while. Seems like a lot of these posts showing up lately.

I guess we all need to look at these things and learn from them. Live life now and enjoy it as much as possilbe. It may be long, or maybe not. I probably need to follow more of that advice myself. Seems like when you are young you cant wait for time to pass. Now we just hope it lasts a while and make the best of it.

This is great advice Gerry. I believe one should spend their savings while they can enjoy them and be destitute in their later years, if they get there. It doesn't cost a lot to watch television when one can no longer see well or walk much. One of my all time favorite bumper stickers was "NO CHILD LEFT A DIME". :)
