Rimfire chambers

Shs, hush..TOP SECRET...how could you have known

glynn,

Don't think there is much secrecy around chamber finishing. Information is available all over the internet.

Not much secrecy around hobs either. They have been used by many people and have been around for years.

What we do have is believers, and non-believers, and a shortage of people wanting to explain a process to people that have no intention of using it.

Most of these people already have their own ideas and just want an argument.

If you are really interested look at this. That should be enough to get you started.

Tony, I shot Rimfire Benchrest in the early years, a lot. I ran Match's & shot somewhere every weekend. I had a lot of fun !! We've seen a lot of changes. & some of those changes have been useful ! I think the ammo chase eventually wears down most everyone !!
all the best, Glynn

Tony, thanks for that link. I'd never seen it. Interesting in that I did my chambers much the same way, using a hobb that Dave Kiff made for me, and I used Viper Venom cutting oil as a lube. Seemed to work ok. Good luck shooting this season!
