Results, NBRSA Varmint for Score Nationals 100

Thanks for posting, Jackie couldn't make it this year and I like seeing who is at the top, but for me seeing the person in 61st place made my day!

Well run and Hotly contested event!

Thanks, Jackie, Tim, Doc, and Wilbur - I'll take what I can get. ;)

Dean Thomas, Luann and Jason Dill, Bud Shalles, and the entire crew, from scorer, target detail, to cooks, ran a good show. Y'all take some bows!:)

Going into match five, at least one person, on every relay had victory within grasp, by simply shooting a BIG X-count!

The VfS highlights: James Lederer establishing a probable NBRSA 200 Yd. Record - 250-15X, and Harvey Uttinger putting the 2-Gun (Hunter Grand, + VfS Grand) Agg. on a very high peak: 1,000-62X!:cool: Some truly GREAT shootin' there!:D

Let's all begin planning on attending next August - Boone Valley Ike's, Webster City, Iowa. Keep 'em ON the X! RG

Randy and others

put on the IBS score championship a number of years ago. I couldn't go due to work but thats not as much of an issue now. A couple of shooter friends from Me and VT went and had a ball. They said it was one of if not the best championship event they ever attended. I don't plan to miss this one. Looks like I had better join the NBRSA.

Randy, will this be 4 days format? hunter 100, 200, Vfs 100, 200, each on a separate day? If so I think that format is great. --Greg

Greg - we'll count on abusing you and you travel mates! :p Yes, The NBRSA National Championship format dictates one gun, one yardage per day, or, for those who choose to shoot both Hunter Class, and VfS, a four day event (100/200:100/200). At this time, I cannot say which gun will be contested first - don't believe it matters much.

Mike Bigelow and Ronnie Berg will likely be the dictators - I'll probably beg for door-prizes. Whichever the order, the awards for the first class contested will be distributed the [Wednesday] afternoon of the two hundred yard event; the second Gun awards and the Two Gun awards, on Friday, at the conclusion of the 200, as soon as "legal"
following the posting of the Aggs. Keep 'em ON the X! RG

Jackie I hope you can make it I enjoyed shooting next to you in the VFS Nationals
Ronnie Berg

Ron, you got to witness that bone head move I pulled in Match 3 at the 100.

Just think, I traveled over 1100 miles to pull that stunt:D

I still can't believe I got out of that "alive".
