Remington 700 BDL

Don't forget, you can stuff that full of 4895. I own several 222's and 4895 became my powder of choice. If I had to rank from there...4895, 4895, 4895

4895 is on my list when I go to the gun show Saturday...either Hodgdon or IMR, whichever I can find.

If you are going to shoot the 52-53gr match bullets, don't overlook Reloader 7. I competed with I4895 for one season, but was having to use compressed loads. I used Reloader 7 last season and it actually shot a little better and I didn't have to compress the load. Actually, the .222 will digest a lot of different powders with good to great results.

From most all I've read you'd be hard pressed to find a bad powder, within reason, for the .222 but some stick out more than others such as 4198, 4895, H322 and BLC(2).
