When Dick's had sale on 700 varmints & Remington also gave a rebate, I bought one in 308 with the idea of making it a 30BR. I never got around to it. It's still sitting there as a virgin!
I did convert a 788 rem from 22-250 to 30BR, so that took much of the pressure off doing anything with the 700.
