Recoil reducers in a 300WSM LG stock.

Donovan Don't like to be an a$$ but that brake doesn't look legal, gasses can't come back as rules say. Ok for anything else but not IBS or PA.

Mike - Thanks for the input <> that is exactly the kind if experimentation/input in a Bench rifle I was hoping to hear about....
Been kicking it around myself for a couple years, just never took the plunge.

Dave - below is a 10-degree V-port brake like I was referring to:

Not legal

I take that back if the ports are facing forward. If they are that makes no sense as a recoil reducing device.

Mike is correct.....
The ports are machined 90-degrees to the brake, and are 10-degrees up from center. The 10-degree up from center aspect was designed to compliment prone, which greatly reduces disturbance on the ground and sound bouncing off the ground. The only difference from other port brakes is the ports are located 10-degrees up from center and the brake has to be timed on the barrel accordingly.

With that all said, I do not see how they would be illegal?
