Reamer dimensions

reamer dimensions

Gentlemen thank you for your input. I wanted some input on tightening the back end to fit the brass better. I intend to have custom chambering reamers and sizers to fit my brass as I do in short range benchrest . By the way I do not shoot 6ppc I shoot a modified 6 br shortened. again thanks

Powers,

I would encourage you to have your chambering reamer made to suit a production re-size die such as a standard Redding full length. You can save the expense of a re-size reamer and custom re-size die. A tight neck chamber and neck turned brass can utilize a standard die without an expander and can produce straighter ammo than a bushing die, custom or not.

I'm curious about your intended use for this rifle. This a lot of trouble for a chambering that will have pretty short barrel life and not the greatest potential for pure accuracy. Is this a long range hunting rig?
