Anybody out there that makes any type of decent carrying case for these things ?

dont know

i use a plastic tool box from wally world that i lined with foam. i take off the hopper and wrap it and the wall wort in a towel and put those in front of the CM.

Yeah, I looked at variations of that but a nice wooden clamshell type deal would be nice, right?
Some enterprising woodshop type guy can make a few bucks here, I figure.

I would be up for one. I got one of those SKB Drone Cases for my SEB NEO rest. $50.00 delivered off the internet a while back. I think that one of those might be able to hold it laying on its side and the interior has more than enough foam to get cut out and hold it.

Too big, too heavy, etc.
Also, have been told but am not absolutely sure, you do not want to have these things on their sides.....it might compromise the scale.
At these prices, I’m not taking chances.

Good point, but I am sure than when mine got shipped to me, it was not always in the upright position.

That’s , I assume, why it was locked with that screw. When you unlocked it, that was supposed to be a one time procedure, to release the scale platform.

Carry box

Not sure on the Matchmaster but Harbor Freight has a nice box that is perfect for the Chargemasters and Intelidropers with the hopper tube removed. plenty of room to spare for padding, batteries and cables as well. It's the 20" stainless/plastic steel box, brand name is Voyager and for $22 bucks, not a bad deal.
