I just checked the weather station current info for Raton this afternoon. Sustained winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 60! Should be interesting to see how many penalties there are and what the aggs are going to be for those poor guys trying to shoot down there. Forecast for tomorrow isn't much better either.
Hope the target frames don't get sheared right off the bases.........

Jim Hemmert of Garden City, KS checked in with his amigos from eastern Kansas. Drove to Raton but didn't shoot. Said the dust was just too bad for his equipment.

So somebody's gotta know by now how it went? It ain't the SS, I know, but it was the biggest match west of the mighty Miss last weekend for 'ells sake.....

We had two target frames blow over Saturday night, pulled out the concrete foundations.Never seen that before. The match went very smooth considering the conditions, think we only had one cease fire all weekend.
