Questions about old Fecker scope

Get binged in the head enough times by not letting it slide freely in the mounts and you will be more than happy to pull it back to battery by hand. Being a dedicated Schuetzen competitor they are still often used in order to meet the traditional class rules and are highly desirable. They are also getting more exspensive by the day as a real nice one is harder to come by. The only real problem with some of them is lens seperation and there are those who specialize on repairing them. If you look at the objective lens and it is starting to get cloudy the lens adhesive is starting to fail and the lenses are seperating and need to be re-glued. The 7.2 scope block spacing provides 1/4 inch clicks at a 100 yds. You have yourself a real Gem of a target scope Sir and I would hang onto it. Return springs can found on Ebay from time to time but are seldom used in our sport more so for the sake of exacting repeatability as well as not getting binged in the head one to many times being secondary. As stated earlier eye releif is very minimal and thus the head binging problem depending of rifle being used. Someone mentioned the Mitchells and I have seen real nice ones / new and unused go for $3000.00+ for a 27X or 32X and even more for one of the rare 36X's George made.
