As close as I can measure with a feeler gauge 1/2 turn will move the cutter in and out .002". Remember that is on radius which will be .004" on diameter. If you look the base is marked for a total of .0015", something over 1/4 turn.

As the picture shows, the tool body moves the mandrel closer to or further from the cutter.
