Primer form a Lapua Master M shell. It is very even and hard. Makes one really wonder why about the 6-12 debate.....

That looks exactly like an Eley primer, so much I would say that that case was primed by Eley.RWS primer is green and it only goes around the rim.The Eley system puts the primer in wet and then dries it that is why it covers the whole bottom of the case.

I'm sure there are reasons on many levels that support where the firing pin strikes the rim being an issue. Never mind that the whole thing takes place in a trillionth of a trillionth of a second.....folks have reasons....
